The Lads are still paying him back, as the interest on 17/6d was compounded. Record company offers were withdrawn when a swearword was detected 2 seconds into the first song.

The mastertape was lost, stolen, or taken into 'safe keeping' by persons unknown.

Recorded at the Cottage 22/8/85. Press clippings on the sleeve are from that week's Macc Express, and the photo was taken before a gig in Clapham,1983. EH UP!...MACC LADS 7" 12" MC. 1986; HHS1 HHS1/T HHCS1 Tracks:- Beer & Sex, Eh Up!.. Macc Lads; I Love Macc; Made of Ale; All copies of this were destroyed after only two weeks on sale. There are a limited number of 'white label' versions with individual Stammer cartoons in plain white sleeves. MC versions also contained 'Knutsford' & 'Fat Bastard'.

Cheeky Monkey plays the drums. The Beater is ill (with some hamster -like 'gland' trouble, and a curious skin complaint). The video is known as 'The one where Muttley catches the can'.

These cassettes came in five different colours, and each had five of the above tracks. However, buying all five didn't mean that you necessarily got all the songs. Oh, no.
FILTHY FAT & FLATULENT MC. 1987; HH6 Tracks:- Baggy Anne; Barrel's Round; Eh Up! Let's Sup; Fat Bastard; Head Kicked In; Knutsford; The dark green one. Recorded at Porky Pig's in Salford. The Lads were not happy with the results, but Slimy released it anyway. The studio was destroyed, one mastertape went missing, and Chorley missed the vocals- he was upstairs porking Mrs Pig.

The Cottage, 18/3/87. The Beater bought some effects pedals off the market, and decided that this LP would be the 'Future of Rock'. Abdul threatened Baldy's mixing desk with balti - so the swirling sitars remain to this day. MAIL ORDER

This includes 'Twenty Pints' from October 1982, which won some award or other. The mastertape had Match of the Day recorded over it, so the quality is diabolical.
JINGLECASSINGLE MC. 1987; HH8 Tracks:- Barrel's Round; Jingle Bells Limited edition cassette available in Dec. ‘87 only. This version of Barrel's Round was recorded as a 7" for Jukeboxes (VHF42). 'Get the fucking beer in' changed to ‘ Get the ginger beer in', but the swearing on the flipside meant it was still banned.
SHEEPLESS NIGHTS MC. 1988; HH9 Tracks:- Dan's Underpant; Eh Up!.. Macc Lads; I Love Macc; No Sheep 'til Buxton; Pie Taster; Maid of Ale; The yellow one. A combination of HHS1 and VHF44 singles, plus a live track recorded in Leeds. Littered with ovine puns, this sold loads- The vinyl version charted for a whole week.
FOUR BLEATS TO THE BAA VIDEO. 1988; HHV3 Tracks:- Barrel's Round; Charlotte; Head Kicked In; I Love Macc; Jingle Bells; Julie the Schooly; Knutsford; Maid of Ale; Monkees; No Sheep; Now He's a Poof; Party; Pie Taster; Saturday Night; Sweaty Betty; Torremolinos The "No Sheep" promo was shown on TV when the single topped the H. Metal chart. Although what it was doing in that chart remains a mystery. Also includes live tracks from gigs in London and Bristol, and other promotional videos.

Predictably a lot of beer was flying around. Some found its way into the mixing desk, so a portion of the gig is played in total darkness after the lighting circuit blew.
