The Lads With a Humdinger

An album review from some downmarket piece of tat in 1987.

Macc sound latest with all the old favourites included

The Macc Lads - Live at Leeds (FM Records): A humdinger of an album from The Lads From Macc.

All their old favourites are featured, including the excellent Lads from Macc, Charlotte and Doctor, Doctor.

There are also two brilliant tracks which I have never heard before, Ben Nevis and Bloik.

The album is very well produced and the atmosphere of their live gig comes across well to the listener.

Their rapport of jokes and insults with the crowd are almost as funny as the songs.

This is particuarly so with one of Muttley's quips about The Proclaimers.

This album is a must for all Macc fans.

The band are doing a British tour to promote their new album which will include a visit to Tivoli's in Blackpool on September 22.
